07 Budget – Will be needing Bibles, leather materials, plus sending several to camp school.  (Council has been paying our fees at camp school recently. Approx  $1000.)  Suggested doubling Cindy’s salary – (on hold).  Assumed collections and contributions will be similar to this year.  Need fundraisers to cover added expenses.  Copy attached.

Naish staffing- Discussed alternate plans for funding program.  Have started a ministry program- Friction with camp staff because Chaplains are paid more than staff personnel.  Can we afford to continue program?  We need to find money.  Also concerns if Jonathan changes his mind on our participation at camp or if Jonathan gets transferred out.  Posed question as to our interest in maintaining program.  Unanimous affirmative vote.

Discussed options on how to fund Naish and Bartle –  suggested subscription for each committee member; continue Naish program contingent on participation of other faith committees.

Alternative options proposed – 1. continue as we are – commit to raising money.  2. Develop collaboration with 2 other faith committees.  3. Abandon program – go with some other program.

Review options and discuss at next meeting.   (Straw vote – option 1 – 3 votes, option 2 – 7 votes, option 3 – 0 votes.)  Team to work on collaboration with other faith committees.
