Meeting minutes for PCOS meeting
Meeting held at Community Christian Church with Russ Munyan, George Flanagan, Cindy Cone and Warren Vosler attending.
Call to order
Update on Dave Engle- First incision not healing well. Second surgery seemed to correct problem and Dave appears to be OK.
Discussed attendance for Mic-O-Say Celebration church service.
Discussed availability of help for Staff Week Ice Cream Social.
Treasury currently shows 5787.16 balance.
Naish supplies for first session – 12 New Testaments, box of Book of John handouts (100), 75 bluebooks.10 silver and 10 brown books.
Bartle sessions are staffed with
no apparent candidates for
Naish Scout side full – Warren Vosler 1st session and Steve Wolford 3rd session. Webelos partly full. Chuck Magnuson and Tim Munday to attend camp school. Keith Shank, friend of Warren Wenner, acting as Asst Pool director and as Reservation Chaplain. Not sure how this arrangement affects when are in camp. Keith is Youth Minister at a church in Wellsville.) Keith can be available to help with Webelos and/or Bear Camp if needed. Recommending payment of $50 per session (estimating $400 for the summer) to Keith if his services are needed.
Debriefing for Chaplains – Naish and Bartle at same time 8/27/09, 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Covenant Chapel. (Considered joint meeting of chaplains and PCOS but decided to hold separate meetings.)
Looking ahead-
Anticipate $1,400 for purchase of carabineers – think we have enough leathers.
Planning second Ten Commandment Hike for October 4.
Chap/Chap Aide training in Jan 2010. George to do program, need someone to assist.
Planning for
meeting dates and hosts – decided to hold all meetings at Community Christian
in George’s classroom starting at 7:00pm. Dates are 9/24, 10/22,
