Meeting Minutes PCOS for 4/26/07 (Nick Kennedy residence)
Meeting opened
Attendees: Nick Kennedy, Steve Walton, Cindy Cone, Dave Engle, Bob Whitaker, Russ Munyan, Tom Carlisle, Don Shapley, Warren Vosler.
Motion made and seconded to accept minutes of March meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Have completed Chaplain
Training sessions for Bartle. Making preparations for
Chaplain Training first session covered Chapel and counseling activities. Second session dedicated to leather’s program.
Camp school – 12 local participants- Prot 6, Cath 1, Jewish 3, Community of Christ 2.
Have 6 Chaplains to assist with Tribal Celebration service. (Interfaith offering to used for scholarship).
Leather materials purchased except Rounders. Dave Allen to supply. No printing done as yet.
Need to process paperwork to transfer money $50 to Catholic Committee for Rotary Camp.

Naish in good shape- Nathan and Kreg to work as one person through summer. Chaplain will have radio.
Working on ordering 2000 copies of Book of John to be used in place of New Testament Bibles. Russ trying to determine method of payment and quantity available.
Treasurer report- report from Council didn’t show any additions from last month. We have purchased a computer and printer for Cindy; Cindy has purchased carabineers, dyes.
Did a brief overview of Leathers program for Don Shapley.
We wish to welcome Don Shapley of PRAY into our committee. A very welcome addition to the committee with his work and knowledge of the PRAY program.
Web Site- Russ had conducted the web site for a year. Did not appear to have much activity. Committee requested Russ to continue with web site HOAC_PCOS.org.
Ten commandment hike was held 3/31- good turn out (Only 4 churches participated because of weather.) Something to consider for the future.
Russ to rewrite letter for contribution campaign. Will post it on website for committee to use in requesting contributions for the committee. Request cards also on website.
June 11 will be PCOS day at Naish- plan to attend church
service at
Next meeting- Covenant Chapel on September 27. Russ hosting. Chaplain debriefing in late August.
