PCOS Meeting Minutes – 2/21/07

Meeting held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Liberty, MO

Attendees: Steve Walton, Chris Noble, Dave Engle, Bob Whitaker, Tom Carlisle, Nick Kennedy, Cindy Cone, Warren Vosler

Chris opened meeting with prayer at 7:30 pm.

First order of business – review and approval of 1/25/07 minutes.

Treasurers report- latest report from Council shows balance of 2738.95.

Budget stands as presented last meeting.

Nathan and Kreg have accepted the position and salary as presented in the budget for Naish.

Book of John will be ordered by April 1. Looking for funding.

Chaplain Status at Bartle-

* 2 interviews to go. One slot open. Chris Noble not eligible for Chaplain because of age.

* Community of Christ has a representative for all 6 sessions. They will attend our

Chaplain training sessions.

* All faiths will be attending Camp School. (Marc Rainen, Ken Albers, Dick Kramer).

* Approximately 15 persons locally to attend camp school in May. Doubt we will be charged for camp school.

- Leather Program: Dyes have been ordered. Leathers ordered. Carabineers here. Printing underway.

- God and Country celebration April 1 at Cherokee Christian Church, 75^th & Belinder, PV. Dan Shapley from P.R.A.Y. will be speaking.

- Recommend keeping trained Chaplains on reserve to fill vacancies and understudy for next year.

- Adventures in Scouting articles will be appearing.

- Voted to transfer $50 to the Catholic Committee for use at Rotary Camp.

- Will be hand delivering & mailing pledge cards.

- Expecting CCLI license renewal at approximate cost of $223.
