committee account at Scout Office $3,178.42.
No known outstanding expenses at this time.
Old Business:
Committee committed to
keeping Naish Chaplain Program. Committee
assumes contributions of $1500 from last years donors will be repeated for this
year.
Inventory of supplies
indicates we have enough bibles for several years. We have enough Blue and Silver Leather
supplies for this year on hand. Hence no major expense for the program.
Rearranged program schedule
for Webelos allowed a 30 minute window between breakfast and leader meeting on
third day so that we were able to provide a church service and as a result were
able to receive approximately $800 in offerings.
Discussed reducing stipend
for Bartle Chaplains-
decided to keep stipend as is.
Russ Munyan moved that we
commit to repeating the Naish program as it was in 2005 for 2006 and fund it as
we have before. Motion passed with
unanimous vote.
Council (David Allen)
requests stipends be run through Scout Office starting with this year. Allows chaplains to be
covered by Workman’s Comp, etc.
We will need to provide W2’s and I9’s.
Suggest we ask Council again
about paying for Bartle Chaplains.
Council is taking care of Chapels.
George will discuss with David Allen.
Development of Vision/Mission statement-
Identify mission of
committee and Chaplains. Set goals for
future. Cindy, Steve and George will
continue informally on mission statement.
